Westerfolds Sports Centre, formerly known as The Templestowe Swim School, originated as a free standing purpose built Swimming School by Ray Kemp, of North Balwyn, in the early 1950's.
As the success of the School grew under the ownership of Russel and John Breadmore, the Squash courts were added behind the pool in the 1970's, one by one until it has morphed into the facility it is today, owned by the Kent family, somewhat 50 years later. The centre has always been a family owned and operated one, by local families for local families for nearly 60 years!
Since 1996 the Aquatic Department has been totally rebuilt, an 8th Squash court and Function rooms have also been added to the complex.
Westerfolds Sports Centre has become a landmark of Templestowe and is continually expanding! Our management team is young and enthusiastic and will be available to meet your needs.
